Excursion Description:
The Year 12 students are cordially invited to the 2023 Year 12 Formal at Victoria Park.
Location Address:
Victoria Park Golf Complex (Garden Room), 309 Herston Road, Herston QLD 4006
Transport:
Students to arrange own transport to the Formal venue. Students must be collected by the parent, caregiver, or responsible adult allocated on the Transportation form attached (between 10-10:30pm).
Arrival/Return Times:
The evening will run as follows:
- 5:30pm – 6.30pm: Arrivals/ Pre-function & photos
- 6:30pm – 10:30pm: Formal function

Activity Risk Management Strategies:
Students will be supervised by staff members and the administration team. Expectations about pre, during and post formal behaviour will be explicitly stated to students and parents/guardians.
Dress code:
Students are expected to wear formal attire that is appropriate for a formal school event.
Other:
Parents/caregivers are invited to attend a pre formal function with non-alcoholic drinks and canapes from 5.30pm at the Venue. Two parents/caregivers per student are permitted to attend.
Due to the venue capacity requirements, extended family and friends are not permitted to attend.
Students will be expected to comply with the terms of the Student Code of Conduct for students for the duration of this activity.
Activity costs:
The cost of the Grade 12 formal is $110 (invoice will be sent)
IN ADDITION;
The cost of the Pre formal canapes for parents/caregivers (2 persons per student) is $15 each
