Reward Days

We frequently promote positive behaviour across the school and to create safe and supportive learning environments.

This is done by a combination of

  • In class praise / encouragement,
  • Celebrations at assemblies,
  • Year level challenges,
  • End of term or semester rewards days.
The Leadership Team at the College strives to find a balanced and fair model and is constantly reviewing how this process is working.

Junior Campus
There are 3 levels for the end-of-term rewards day/sessions. These points are based on the Monkey Ladder point system for weeks 1-8.
  • Bronze: 30-70 points
  • Silver: 71 - 110 points
  • Gold: 111-150 points
Montessori and High Capacity programs have their own internal reward system to correspond.

Rewards Days occur at the end of every term (sometimes postponed to the start of the next term because of scheduling / restrictions).

This term, the rewards include:
  • Bronze - Ice Block
  • Silver - Popcorn & Movies
  • Gold - Pool Party (permission form sent home later this term to eligible students)
Questions should be directed to the classroom teacher in the first instance, as it is based on classroom behaviour.

Senior Campus
Rewards Days occur at the end of every semester.

Students who receive a PB Certificate both terms in a semester and maintain 95% attendance for the semester are eligible to participate in the PB Rewards Day.

Rewards Day activities may include Pizza Party, Movies and Popcorn, Pool Party on the Junior Campus or a sausage sizzle.

Questions should be directed to the Year Co-ordinator in the first instance as the tracking applies across multiple classes.
