2023 Free Dress and Containers for Change Days

Additional details added August 11th 2023:

  • August 18th - Students on the Junior Campus can wear orange to support the National Day of Action against Bullying and Violence. This is a free event - no donation.
  • September 15th - Students on the Senior Campus will wear orange and participate in activities on the last day of term. This is a gold coin donation. 
  • September 15th - Students on the Junior Campus will still have a full free dress day theme on the last day of term. This is a gold coin donation.
  • October 18th - both campuses will have a colour run. We will share details closer to the date. 


Our free dress days have been listed on our website for you to add to your calendar. The Daymap app will also list the free dress days as part of the calendar of events. 

This information applies to ALL College students, from Prep to Year 12.

​Students show their support for various causes and charities each year by dressing up and occasionally giving a gold coin donation.

In addition to sporting carnivals; 

Term 1

  • 21st March - Harmony Day (wear something orange) (Containers for Change Day)
  • 30th March - Easter Hat Parade (Junior)
  • 31st March - Student Management Team select theme (last day of term - gold coin)

Term 2

  • 21st June - State of Origin (wear something sport-themed) (Containers for Change Day)
  • 23rd June - Student Management Team select theme (last day of term - gold coin)

Term 3

  • 22nd August - Book Week (Senior)
  • 24th August - Book Week (Junior) (Containers for Change Day)
  • 15th September - Student Management Team select theme (last day of term - gold coin)

Term 4

  • 26th October - Day for Daniel (wear red) (Containers for Change Day)
  • 8th December - Christmas Theme

Guidelines:

Standard school rules apply to all other aspects of the day, with students required to dress sensibly and meet the Occupational Health and Safety requirements.

Please note the following conditions:

  1. Footwear: Enclosed flat-soled shoes only

  2. Tops: No strapless tops, no revealing tops, no midriff tops

  3. Slogans: No inappropriate or offensive slogans on any clothing

  4. Skirts & Tops: All skirts and shorts to be of modest length

Students may be unable to attend classes and activities for failing to meet the dress code, with parents contacted with requests for more suitable clothing.
